Designer Sunglass Frames Can Be Repaired With Precise Accuracy
Many frames and Sunglasses are made with custom parts (pads, bushings, screws) that require the exact piece from the manufacturer for your frames to be repaired properly. In most cases All American Eyeglass Repair will carry those parts.
With many boutique style frames such as Prada, Versace, and Chanel the designer markings are hand crafted, or etched into the frame, and the appearance will be affected if not repaired with precision welding.
BEFORE & AFTER EXAMPLE
All American use a proprietary technique that allows us to repair a broken Versace frame and still guarantee the Medusa alignment (see picture below) is perfect. Most repairs are completed in less than an hour.
What will my glasses look like after repairs are made?
Regardless of how a repair is made any repair will be slightly visible and will incur a discoloration of the metal. The key is to minimize the area that is affected so that the naked eye must focus hard to see the repair, we love to hear a customer ask “where did you fix it?". We view our eyeglass repair as an art form and we strive to be Picasso.
How much will repairs cost?
We can generalize, but there are many small barrels, hinges, and unique mountings that we really do need to see it first, but $30- 49$ is a good estimate.
Is there a warranty?
We provide a 90 day warranty on the repaired portion of your frame, this warranty is unconditional; falling asleep late at night, playing with the kids and your glasses break in same spot, no problem just bring them back and there will be no cost to you.
How strong are they after the repairs?
All repairs are tested for maximum durability prior to dispensing and you can use them as you did before.
